The end of public voting for the Architizer A+ Awards is fast approaching, but today we bring you five sports and recreation facilities that are keeping the competition pepped up. With the increasing popularity of major sporting events, like the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, new sports and recreation complexes have become the focus for cities around the world to spur excitement, generate urban renewal, attract investment, and instill a sense of local and national pride.
